The Schöffel philosophy revolves around the heart of our brand: sustainability, social responsibility and the high quality of our products. We firmly believe that our actions have a long-term impact on ourselves and our environment, much like the echo that reverberates in the mountains and carries our voices back to us.

For us as a clothing manufacturer, the label echo embodies the profound influence we have on the preservation of nature and the environment. It is a symbol of our responsibility towards people and nature. We are aware that everything we do or don't do today will come back to us at some point. Therefore, sustainability is a fundamental principle that is firmly anchored in our corporate identity.

At Schöffel, sustainability is more than just a buzzword. It is a firmly anchored value that guides our decisions and actions in all areas of the company. We strive to act in an ecologically and socially responsible manner in order to make a positive contribution. Our products are manufactured with care and dedication to ensure the highest quality and durability.

Sustainability at Schöffel

Schöffel echo is one of many building blocks with which we shape the future and reflects our attitude as the basis for our thoughts and actions. At Schöffel, sustainability manifests itself in many facets, all of which place the well-being of people and nature at their centre.

In the production of our functional clothing, we place the highest value on the well-being of the employees involved. That's why we have been a member of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF), which is committed to workers in the textile industry, for over ten years.

Another pillar of our sustainability strategy is well thought-out environmental management: Schöffel has set itself the goal of reducing our C0² emissions by 50% by 2030. At our main site in Schwabmünchen, we have already been heating 100% with climate-neutral eco-gas since 2019. Through our cooperation with bluesign®, we also actively manage pollutants and chemicals to protect nature.

For us, it goes without saying that we use sustainable materials for our high-quality outdoor clothing. Furthermore, we ensure that all animal raw materials we use come from species-appropriate animal husbandry. By the way: the signature collection of our brand ambassador Felix Neureuther is also climate neutral. In line with our motto We are Nature, we are setting the course for the future together with Felix.

As a manufacturer of functional clothing, we are faced with the challenge of extracting and processing high-tech materials in a resource-friendly way and developing them in such a way that they can be recycled. At Schöffel, we rise to this challenge and do everything we can to develop recyclable outdoor clothing that meets the highest quality standards. On our platform echo we inform you about our contribution to a social and environmentally friendly textile industry. With the vision of the same name, we present products that are particularly resource-friendly, durable and recyclable as part of the circular economy.
