Layering system for the 2024 ski season
The onion look is the way to go so that you neither freeze nor sweat while skiing. This clever combination of your functional clothing keeps you warm while ensuring breathability and optimum moisture transport. It goes without saying that the new 2024 ski collection is designed entirely for this layering system. Schöffel has an extensive selection of clothing for each layer so that you can put together a ski outfit that is tailored to you.
Top-layer top (shell): Jacket Style Pontre WMS and Ski Jacket Pontresina M
Wet and cold don't stand a chance here: with a top layer as a weather stopper, you stay dry and warm during winter sports. Special ski jackets such as the Jacket Style Pontre WMS for women and the Ski Jacket Pontresina M for men impress with a water column of 20,000 millimetres and a breathability of 20,000 MVTR. Both ski jackets have fully taped seams for even greater waterproofness and a detachable snow guard. The hood is detachable and individually adjustable. Our tried-and-tested 4-way stretch also gives you the full freedom of movement you need for your turns on the slopes. The Pontresina M ski jacket and Pontre WMS style ski jacket also score points with storage space in the lining system with goggle pocket and multimedia pocket and an integrated Recco® reflector.

Top layer bottom part: Ski Pants Lizum and Pants Pontresina
Of course, your ski pants are just as important as your ski jacket: the Ski Pants Lizum L for women and the Ski Pants Pontresina M for men leave nothing to be desired. They are waterproof with a 20,000 millimeter water column, have a breathability of 20,000 MVTR and impress with their comfortable fit with pre-shaped knees, a comfortable waistband and 4-way stretch. The Recco® reflector is also integrated into both models and complements your equipment.
Insulation layer: Ins Jacket Style Pontre
You can achieve optimum heat retention when skiing with your insulation layer. Discover the new Ski Ins Jacket Style Pontre MNS, which keeps you warm, is windproof and repels water. The Ski Ins Jacket Style Pontre MNS will delight you with its optimum fit and light weight. It has two hand pockets with soft fleece lining, an inner mesh pocket and a high-closing hood collar with chin protection on the zipper. Incidentally, we have used mainly recycled polyester and nylon to manufacture the Ski Ins Jacket Style Pontre MNS.
Base layer
The base layer is the innermost layer of your ski outfit. To call it just “underwear” would not do it justice, because it is so much more than that: the base layer ensures optimum moisture management. By transporting moisture and drying quickly, your base layer ensures that you don't sweat during winter sports. A good base layer is also odorless and comfortable on the skin. At Schöffel, we therefore rely on merino wool: this high-quality natural material is predestined as a base layer thanks to its properties and scores points for its sustainability.
